01 goal

Cut downtime and deployment time, and make the platform easier to scale and change safely.

02 starting point

v1 shipped as a monolith on React, Node.js, Firebase and Google Cloud.

03 architecture

beforemonolithdeployed as one unitafterserviceserviceservicepublish-subscribe · AWS SNS/SQSindependently deployed and scaled
// illustrative — the shape of the change, not the client's real topology

04 decisions

  1. 01

Split the monolith into Node.js / NestJS services

Moved the platform onto NestJS services running on Google Cloud, so parts could be deployed and scaled independently instead of as one unit.

  2. 02

    Event-driven integration with publish-subscribe

Designed publish-subscribe modules and event-driven integrations on AWS SNS/SQS.

  3. 03

Design reviews with a Google Cloud partner

Ran system design and architecture reviews with Onix, a Google Cloud partner. Outcome: +30% scalability and −25% deployment errors.

  4. 04

v2 on Next.js, NestJS and PostgreSQL

Helped build v2 on Next.js, NestJS and PostgreSQL, using row-level security.

  5. 05

AI agents on Google's Agent Development Kit

Integrated AI agents through Google ADK and built React/TypeScript interfaces for multi-agent AI systems.
